We Were Made for These Times: Stories of Challenge

Please pre-register by Oct. 18th! You will receive a welcome email with details. Questions?  Email Pat at webbpat1@cox.net

The Silence Foundation invites YOU to take up pen and paper & explore life in these “interesting” times!

We’ve all been through some significant changes – globally and personally. This Fall we’d like to offer you a chance to reflect and re-collect your own stories of life in recent years. All are welcome. New to writing?  No problem.  We’ll show you how to dive in.  Our safe sharing methods will put you at ease.

We gather at St. Francis of the Woods to be nurtured by nature as we capture our lived experiences. Creative writing prompts will be provided by our facilitators:

Pat Webb, Doug Paulsen, and Eric Starkey - three veteran Oklahoma writers and teachers of writing.

“Mother Earth faces environmental pressure with ingenuity.

Adversity quickens growth and adaptation and is followed in the natural world often by

confidence, strength and stability.

Earth helps us acknowledge our capacity to flourish through challenge.”

Toni Salerno, Sacred Earth Oracle
